Top Six – April 7

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I’m cooking a vat of curry later. So there.

6 Disability Smear Day – Take 2 More calling out of Grant “Spiv” Shapps and the Tories over their ridiculous claims over the numbers not proceeding with their claims for disability benefit.

5 Top Six – March 31 A first – a Top Six in the Top Six!

4 Benefits Lifestyle – The Sad Truth After the papers bandied about figures anywhere between £60,000 and £100,000 for the income of the Philpott household, it was time to look at the actual numbers. To no surprise, these were rather smaller.

3 Guido Fawked – Kangaroo Not Tied Down The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog once again made allegations about entertainer Rolf Harris. So once again this post, which tells you what The Great Guido doesn’t want to, was wheeled out. And every time Staines and his pals peddle misinformation on the subject, it’ll get wheeled out again. So there.

2 IDS And A Dole Claim The myth of Iain Duncan Cough (for it is he) and his supposed two spells somewhere near the breadline was considered. Basically, he wasn’t anywhere near it at all. And he’s got form for telling porkies.

1 Gilligan’s Hacked Off Goof Andrew “Transcription Error” Gilligan’s amateurish attack on the Hacked Off campaign was given a good fisking. Real fish in a barrel stuff.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
